Chemmino Biotechnology participated in MedTech Hackathon Hong Kong 2024, held in association with the Asia Summit on Global Health. The programme brought together startups, healthcare stakeholders and technology teams working on new approaches to health innovation.
During the programme, Chemmino took part in the final-pitch and exhibition activities. The team shared an early direction for compact UV-Vis-NIR spectral sensing for point-of-care healthcare monitoring, and used the event to exchange ideas with fellow founders and members of Hong Kong’s health-tech community.
Chemmino is an LSCCB-incubated spin-off in the HKU innovation ecosystem. For the team, the Hackathon was an early opportunity to introduce its work publicly, meet potential collaborators and learn from the people building and evaluating healthcare technologies in the region.
