Chemmino presented at HKU Demo Day on 27 June 2024, following the Gear Up Startup Showcase at the University of Hong Kong. The team introduced a compact spectral sensor with wide wavelength coverage and AI-assisted analysis for healthcare applications.
Chemmino’s work in optical sensing focuses on moving useful measurement and signal analysis closer to the point of use. The company is developing portable systems that bring sensor hardware and data analysis together for health monitoring and disease-detection applications.
The Demo Day introduced Chemmino’s technical direction to founders, investors and technology partners working in healthcare. Chemmino is an LSCCB-incubated spin-off in the HKU innovation ecosystem.
