Chemmino joined HKU Demo Day × JUMPSTARTER 2025 at AsiaWorld-Expo on 27 March 2025. The event, co-organised by HKU Techno-Entrepreneurship Core and iDendron, brought together HKU ventures pitching to the JUMPSTARTER audience.
Listed in the AI for Healthcare category, Chemmino presented a technology direction that combines metal compounds with spectral analysis for non-invasive cancer-risk assessment. Professor Chi-Ming Che was named Academic PIC and Dr Wei Liu represented the company at the event.
Chemmino is developing portable sensing products that bring together luminescent metal compounds, a miniature spectral sensor and data analysis. The company is exploring how saliva-based DNA-damage information can support earlier cancer-risk assessment without invasive sampling.
